A Mural From My Dearest Of Friends

I have been wanting to get a forest mural since December and my friend Rachel made my wildest dream come true. Rachel purchased this massive forest mural for me so that I can take her family pictures with it.
Tonight Brads family was kind enough to help us put it together. When the mural was finished it was more glorious than i had imagined. Rachel im going to nock your socks off, you just wait and see.
A Tribute To My Fellow Artist Friends
I wanted to write about how freaken talented my artist friends are and how much I respect them.
Starting with my Painter friends:
Susan Purdy: If I could paint I would want to paint exactly like her. One day when I have more money I would love to have a few of her paintings in my house.
I love her work so much I used her paintings in one of my photos.http://susanpurdy-art-currentwork.blogspot.com/
Tyler Spurgeon graduated for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Painting. He and his wife Erin move here about 6 month ago. His work blows me away. Tyler is one of my favorite people to discus art with. Astronaut With a Tear In Space Soot is my favorite painting of his. Go look at it.http://tylerspurgeon.com/home.html
Graphic Designers:
Brad Trinnaman Is amazing at graphic design but he can retouch a photograph with the best of them. In our Digital Imaging 2 class, which is an advanced photoshop class. All of the students in the class were photographers except Brad and he moped the floor with us. He was the best student in there. Brad also makes the best photographer assistant I have ever had.
He is also the best screen printer I know.
Mike Warner worked with Brad at UVU's marketing as a graphic designer. He builds functional websites that are super creative. He is an Indian. His extremely dry humor make me laugh hard. His favorite restaurant is Burger King. http://www.mikeydesign.com
Jory Dayne I don't even know what category to put him in because he is amazing at everything. He is an illistator, graphic designer, figure drawer, and photoshop expert to name a few. Jory can look at any work of art and know exactly what needs to be done to improve it. Jory taught me a lot about photoshop and how to take my pictures to the next level. http://www.jorydayne.com/#55005
Photographers:
Steven Stone is One of my favorite photographers of all time. I hate close to all photographers but Steven puts most photographers to same. He is incredible at photoshop and the freaken man when it comes to composing a shot. I could sit and watch him photoshop for hours
Brad and i were lucky enough to have him shoot our wedding. http://blacklistvisual.com/
Jac Scott is another photographer I hope to be as good as one day. Jac is killer at lighting and has taught me a lot about it. He is a great teacher and is extremely patient with me. I love being on photo shoots with him because he make me laugh my face off. I was on a photo shoot with Jac when I met Brad for the first time. If it wasn't for Jac I would not have an eternal love. http://jacjacjac.com/nekotako/index.html
Jed College is super good at product photography and incredible at photographing cars. Jed sure took me under his wing and taught me so much about photography. He is always willing to share his knowledge with me and others. His BFA show was one of the best photography exhibits i have ever been to. Jed has let me assist for him a few times (even though I didnt know what I was doing at the time, but he was willing to teach me) Jed is gold pure gold.

ENGAGEMENTS

Angela and Jared are so great for trusting me to do whatever I wanted. The night this was shot was rainy and windy, not good condition to have lighting equipment outside. Not to mention I have a huge fear of being socked by lighting equipment when its not wet outside. We thought we were going to have to cancel.
The owl and birdcage, I wanted to do before I even met with Angela to discuss the pictures. When I told her about my bird idea she was sold on it. She told me she has always had this thing for owls. There is an owl theme throughout the wedding. On Jared and Angela's invitations is a illustration of an owl. They also order a 3d owl cake.

A Day In The Life Of Brad, Day 18: The Powell Ripper

The Ripper was a graphic from the 80's for the Powell skate team the Bones Brigade. The Ripper is one of the most famous and bootlegged image in skateboard history. Brad drew this in Illustrator, then screen printed it. Brad has waited about five years to make this shirt and so he made about ten of them. To learn more about the Ripper watch this video

The day In The Life of Brad, Day 18: 4th Of July Fun With The Family

Brad and I started the 4th with a lovely breakfast at my mom and dad's house. My mom made KILLER french toast with a butter milk syrup.
We did a little shopping with my sister Guiliana to buy my niece and nephew new clothes. Brad liked picking out little outfits for our nephews.
We went to my brother in laws parent's house, I swam while Brad took a nap in a hammock. It was around this time Brad began getting a heat rash.
As the sun went down, we did a photo shoot of Guiliana's kids. Brad and I have the cutest nieces and nephews ever. Brad and I love their little faces. This includes my niece Kenadie who was not there.
Brad ended his 4th of July in bed with a fan on his heat rash.
A cheesie side note: 5 years ago on July 4, I told Brad I loved him for the first time

The Day in the life of Brad Continues, Day 14: A Day Trip To Bryce Canyon
It has been a while but The Day In The Life Of Brad is back my friends. Brad is back from Kansas City, so the glorious series will continue. I have lived in Utah my whole life and never been the Bryce Canyon. It was a solid time. There was a huge storm that hit the canyon that day, hail was involved. Im 99 percent sure that storm was the case of my pneumonia for the past two weeks. Worth it.
