A day in the life of Brad: Day 13, Baby Lemon Shark At The Beach

The ocean in South Carolina is so warm you can swim in it all day and never want to get out. I think its much cleaner and warmer than the west coast.

A day at the beach in Hunting Island, South Carolina. Next to Brad is a baby lemon shark

A day in the life of brad, Day 8: Home Delivery

Brad left work early to come home and bring me lunch because I am sick today. He worked from home the rest of the day. He brought me the greatest tomatoe basil soup from flour boys and dough girls.

This is going to sound lame but one of the great things about being married is having your spouse take care of you when your sick.

Who else would clean the toilet in between throw up sessions when you have the stomach flu and you have lost total control over both ends? Who else would cover you with a blanket when your passed out on the bathroom floor because your to weak to make it back to bed?

A day in the life of brad, Day 7: True Love My Friends

It is 1:00 am so technically it is day 7.

I have been sick lately,  so being the Southern gentleman that Brad is, he has taken the couch for the past few days (also he does snore so he takes the couch often).

Look at him curled up almost falling off the couch, butt hanging out of his shorts as usual. This is when you know its true love my friends, sacrificing a king size bed.

What I dont understand is: Why is Brad sleeping in those shorts? He had on his tight black plants all day, look at day 6 picture. Instead of changing in to pajama bottoms, he changed into his normal everyday shorts and then went to bed in them? It is one thing if he had those shorts on all day, but thats not the case. Guess Ill get to the bottom of this in the morning.

A day in the life of brad, Day 6: A date with 2 lovely ladies

Brad took out two lovely ladies Saturday night. My Mom, Brad and I went to The Springville Art Museum where I received an award for my picture titled The Cook

Half that award  should go to Brad. He has practically been on every photo shoot with me. He makes a great assistant.

A day in the life of brad, Day 5: Detox

Brad started a two week cleanse to rid his body from sugar, caffeine and carbohydrates. On this cleanse he can eat a lot of proteins. He went to coastco and bought fish filet, shrimp, nuts, eggs, soy beans and broccoli.
I have a feeling the no sugar is going to be a doozy.
I on the other hand am off to work at Dippidee and to cover my body in sugar. www.Dippidee.com

A day in the life of brad, Day 4: Arachnophobia

Brad has a slight fear of spiders but I have an even bigger fear. By default Brad will end up killing the spiders. After he smashes the spider, he lets out a SQUEAL every time.

Everyone has seen Brads crack, from my grandmother, to his professors at school, to strangers pointing and laughing as Brad bends over to load the car.

I am aware that this is horrible in more than one way, but the quality of the image is really bad. I had to hurry and grab the camera. The settings are not on at all.

A day in the life of brad, Day 3: Uncle Brad

Brad and I baby sat my sisters kids yesterday. Our nephew Enzo who just turned 6 got a skate board for his birthday. Uncle Brad was teaching him how to ride it. Brad has a huge soft spot for our nieces and nephews.

Everyone who knows Brad knows that he is the sweetest, nicest person you will ever meet. His is my Southern sweet potatoe pie. People assume, based on the way he dresses that he will act like jerk, but that is the farthest from the truth.

The Day in the life of Brad

These pictures sparked an idea for a series called A day in the life of Brad.  Ill be capturing Brads everyday events. Let me just give you a background on Brad. Brad grew up in South Carolina or as i like to call it Souf Carolina. Growing up in the Souf from the stories i have heard, is not normal. One day while attending chemistry class in Souf Carolina Brad was lit on fire by some fellow class mates dew to the fact that he was the minority. Funny and sometimes bazar events seem to follow brad. A few weeks ago during the last snow storm, Brad was running to catch the bus and slipped and fell into a puddle of ice water. The bus driver sow that Brad was soaking wet and pulled over to let him on. Brad heard some ladies in the back of the bus whisper " great now we are going to be late". ( ha ha that is so rude) When Brad got to work he called me to bring him some dry clothes. Now i know what mothers fell like when their children pee their pants at school.
I will post new pictures everyday about brads adventures.
I dont know where this series will go but we will see what events unfold in: A day in the life of Brad

The first BBQ of the summer

I WON 2nd PLACE

I entered my picture The Cook into the Spring Salon at the Springville Art Museum. My picture was selected to be in the show and i received second place over all. Over 1,100 works of art were entered, only 23% were chosen to be hung in the show. This year they had the most entries the Spring Salon has ever had. I am extremely honored to be in the show with such veteran artists as: Brian Kershisnik www.kershisnik.com (Who's painting is on the left of mine) and Sunny Belliston www.sunnybellistonart.com. I am a huge fan of both those artists.

I was so determined that I was not going to get into the show, that i didnt take the time to price my work high enough. I am so exited to see a "commercial" photography be worthy enough to be hung in a museum and be considered "fine art".

That is my friend Brett in the picture.
