look how stupid we look

My friend Trent and i were chosen to represent UVU in a state photography competition. Trent won the gold and i took home the bronze. We had to ware those stupid red blazers that made us look like we were taking the competition way more seriously then we actually did. 

Brad was chosen from UVU to enter the screen printing competition, he won the gold metal. Brad is now going to nationals for the second time. Trent and brad will be going to nationals together.

Revelation Chapter 20

This is from Brads Series Revelation Revolution . Brad took pictures of his models and then used those pictures as a reference to hand draw them in Adobe Illustrator. Once he has his image perfect on the computer, he will then will be silk screening each color by hand. This is a taste of what is to come at our show on April 10.

Before Photoshop and After

I just wanted everyone to see the before and after photoshop. 

When i went to Italy to study art history, one artist that blew me away was Bernini. I wanted to take my love for Bernini and combined it with photography. There where no photoshop filters used in the creation of this (Stevie)

Greek Statue

I shot this on friday with the help of Brad, Giuliana (my sister and the statue), Jearold and Rachel. Rachel Hunter is the make-up artist. She does an amazing job. She works at Cake Salon in Salt Lake City.

THE COOK

Danna lee is featured in four of my images in my Role Playing series. She has been modeling internationally since she was 12. She started her career in Japan. She has also lived and modeled in Hong Kong, Paris, New York, & Los Angeles. She is currently working in New Zealand. She is amazing for working with me on this project. 

Laura & Brad's Art Exhibit

Toy Rabbit Photography by Laura & Ghost Crab Design by Brad, will be presenting their art work at UVU's library on Friday April 10th. Brad is displaying silk screens, based on the book Revelations. His project is titled Revolution Revelation. I will be displaying photos from my series called Role Playing. The Hunter, The Washer, and The Tire Changer are photos from my series. Everyone is invited.
